About iiná bá, Inc.

Focusing on the Unique Needs of Native American Communities

iiná bá is a Native American-owned and managed environmental consulting firm, established in 1994 to focus on the unique needs of the Native American communities of the Four Corners region of the United States. iiná bá means “for life” in Navajo. We strive to follow the Navajo adage “To Walk in Beauty” by helping our people and other Native American communities preserve traditional beliefs and ways that hold the land and all its creatures sacred. We are committed to maintaining and promoting harmony between industry/commerce/profitability and the components of natural life—plants, animals, waters, soils, minerals, and air. Besides industrial and environmental/civil engineering and consulting services, iiná bá offers premier laboratory services performed by a highly trained analytical staff. It is the only Native American Arizona-certified laboratory in New Mexico. We can originate and manage highly specialized technical teams that are capable of providing real solutions to the complicated environmental difficulties encountered by industry and tribal and governmental agencies today. iiná bá presently has a staff of 28 professional and administrative employees.

Professional staff includes registered professional engineers in all Four Corners States (i.e., New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah), New Mexico-certified environmental scientists, Arizona-certified remediation specialists, nationally certified hazardous materials managers, AutoCAD designers and drafters, environmental biologists, and analytical chemists.
